Jerome and Clary Grant
Owners and Operators
If not for the owners Jerome & Clary Grant, this dream of a local brew house in homey Depoe Bay wouldn't have been possible. They currently own and operate Depoe Bay Brewing Company, as well as Gracie's Sea Hag and The Horn Public House. These wonderful and passionate people strive to follow in the traditions of previous owners, carrying on the same values of great customer service and quality fare.
Brian Harder is a native Oregonian and has been a lifelong follower of Pacific Northwest Craft Brewing. He’s been a brewer his entire adult life and has brewed on brew systems ranging from 10 to 100 barrels. Brian was a Chemistry major in college and graduated from the Siebel Institute of Technology in 2009. This experience also took him to Munich, Germany to study at the Doemen’s Academy. He is an avid traveler and has studied brewing techniques and recipes from Iceland to the Cook Islands. Over his career he has used and fermented with over 25 different yeast strains and microbiota.
In 2018, Brian returned to the Oregon Coast to brew and innovate at Depoe Bay Brewing. “Our brewery looks out over the Pacific Ocean, and I get to brew with my friends. I’m basically brewing in paradise, making beer with all these wonderful people.” He says.
